submerged in this fever dream

let expectations recede

free of thought

of laws of gravity

slip into

beauty

and depravity.

catatonic fever dream or stilted daydream?

My eyes are so heavy now

My legs ache and burn

My stomach clenches

My thirst never quenches

When will this weary heart learn?

I scuttle                      back                                and                        forth

                                             back                                          and                             forth

 On my 20-minute-space-ship.

I traverse the planets in between

This merry-musical-courtship!

disoriented

out            of                oxygen

and

exhausted

I emerge,

From my travels

And in insanity, I submerge

As my brain unravels.

These worlds within which I live

They have their own laws of gravity

Their own beauty and depravity

These bubbles I                      float in

They threaten to

                                                                          BURST!

what you cant see

cant see you

unless you see it

seeing you.

can you see you?
